Special Formats
The majority of customer requirements can be met by the application of standard 'off the shelf' products that have been designed to satisfy the majority of interface and performance requirements without the need for modification.
However, where a customer's requirement cannot be met with a standard product due to format constraints Octec will produce a solution to satisfy the requirement. These 'special' solutions are based around the ADEPT family hardware and algorithms in order to reduce development risk, timescale and costs.
Custom format cards are ruggedised and can be designed to fit almost any mechanical assembly with minimized weight and power requirements and interfaces tailored to meet individual customer requirements
Examples of this approach are a tracker on a quadrant shaped board, a dual gate tracker on a circular board and the AIM10 ultra miniature tracker, the latter being developed for a US infantry weapon sight programme.
