Integrated EO Sub-Systems
To compliment Octec's range of image processing modules and board level products, a growing element of the company's business is the design and manufacture of electro optical sub-systems. These can range from one or two modules in a minimum volume, rugged enclosure to a suite of modules integrated into one or more enclosures designed to meet a range of environments.
A typical example of such a sub-system is the video processing and distribution system for the ATR42 maritime patrol aircraft. This system provides image processing, video tracking and colour graphics generation for all video images generated by the aircraft systems and the distribution of these in a range of formats for operator displays and data recorders.
